This is nothing special, just one mango, with 200g plain yogurt putting in a blender. But, after the first time tasting it, it was not sweet enough. So I put mango sugar (about 2tsp.), which I bought at De Peperbol. It’s a big shop in Albert Cuyp straat for those who live in Amsterdam. I bought Sichuan peppercorn as well, which I don’t see in China town here, to make the real Ma-Po taofu. :-) I was kinda happy to find out the shop, which sells a variety kind of spices, from all over the world; and all kinds of tea. (They also sell baking soda, for those who look for it but can’t find it in a Dutch supermarket.)
I’m putting this here even though there is nothing with cooking, but it’s healthy and fresh. The time I bought myself a good blender, I was so happy I could make all the fresh juices and smoothies myself. It’s the feeling of freshness, and being able to control what you eat (not too much sugar, no additives). So probably I’m going to ramble more about juices and smoothies, even though you can find a variety of recipes on the Internet. Baking is always a nice and pleasant thing for someone who loves kitchen work, but it gives some weight. So this is another fun way to enjoy being in a kitchen.
